The McLaren P1 MSO (pictured) will debut at Pebble Beach 2014
It may be Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations in the news at the moment, but McLaren’s own Special Operations has been around since 2011, creating extreme examples of McLaren’s cars for deep-pocketed customers. And they’re back with two new MSO specials for this month’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The most impressive of the two MSO cars is, of course, a special edition of the already very special McLaren P1.

Yes, the next generation of the ‘New’ VW Beetle us upon us, certainly if the spy shots we’ve got of an almost undisguised 2012 VW Beetle are anything to go by. And we did report that VW should debut the 2012 VW Beetle in 2011 before a 2012 launch as long ago as October 2009. So it all adds up
Not surprisingly, this 2012 Beetle has been snapped pounding round the US – the one place it’s sold really well.

Another motor show, another demonic Dodge
That’s about the sum of it. Dodge has unleashed a tirade a different concept cars at recent motor shows and Geneva was no different. The evil-named Demon emerged from a cloud of dry ice amidst lightning-strike strobe effects - quite befitting for a company in the clutches of a possible fire sale.
